Larry is a former corporate news and human resources executive with Knight Ridder and former managing editor of the Miami Herald. "Media Matters" is written by Jerry Ceppos, a fellow in media ethics at the Markkula Center for Applied Ethics at Santa Clara University. He is former VP/News for Knight Ridder and former executive editor of the San Jose Mercury News. Jerry is a consultant associate for Leading Edge Associates. This blog explores the management and leadership issues associated with the media business.
